Covid-19 Updates

**As of September 1, 2020, we have decided to postpone all trips until 2021. We plan to operate on schedule, at full capacity, for all of 2021.

The safety and health of our guests, guides, and villages we travel through are of our utmost concern here at Ouzel. State of Alaska has created very specific mandates for all industries on how to safely operate as we opened back up. We have been very impressed at the cooperation of residents and communities at creating structure to mitigate the risks of transmission. We are very fortunate to have extensive and widely available testing in Alaska, which has greatly reduced the spread. We have respected the villages request off of the road system to not bring visitors in 2020, to protect their communities.

We know fresh air and being in nature is good for the soul as well as your health! We all have been getting outside and staying active as much as possible through this. The State of Alaska sees the value of staying healthy and active, and encouraged us to be outside over the last few months and into the future as we get through this. We appreciate your patience and understanding during 2020, and can’t wait to be back out and fishing in 2021 with you again!

Small, Private Groups

We are happy to offer trips for solo, 2 person, or small private groups. Additional charges may apply for solo travelers, 2 or more is at our standard rate.

Mandatory Testing for all out of State Visitors entering Alaska

As of June 5, 2020. all visitors entering Alaska will be required to show a negative test taken 72 hours prior to arrival at the Anchorage International Airport, or comply with a mandatory Quarantine. We can help you with paperwork to receive this test out of state, or you will be expected to test at the airport on arrival. If plan to test on arrival, please arrive early for results before heading out to the field.

Required Face Masks on all Plane Rides

All flights are requiring face masks be worn. We can help you get face masks if needed.

Private Tents

All guests will have their private tent unless from the same household. Sanitized between trips.

Hand Washing and Hygiene

We will continue to provide hot water and soap hand washing stations, and hot showers on every trip. We have ample amounts of Hand Sanitizer out in the field. We have always been big fans of hygiene in the field.

Transferable Bookings and No-Change Fees

We want you to feel confident traveling. All reservations are transferable to 2021 with no additional change fees or price increase from 2020 to 2021.
